London 7/7: News of the World Source Wastes Police Time

In much the same way as the News of the World and the rest of the Murdoch media empire is a wasteful employment of everyone's time by knowingly making false reports, a News of the World source has been charged with "wasteful employment of the police by knowingly making.... a false report".

Via Team8 and Bridget Dunne:

LONDON (Reuters) - A 27-year-old British man was charged on Thursday with wasting police time by lying to a Sunday newspaper about the fatal July bomb attacks in London.

Imran Yaqub Patel was charged with causing "wasteful employment of the police by knowingly making to Mazher Mahmood (a journalist) a false report" which tended to show he had useful information that could help the inquiry, police said.

Patel of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire will appear before magistrates in Leeds later on Thursday.

He was initially arrested late on Saturday on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of terrorism after the News of the World told police about comments he made to their reporter Mahmood.

The paper was not immediately available to comment on Thursday about the story, which still appears on their Web site.

Four British Muslims killed themselves and 52 others in suicide bombings on three underground trains and a bus on July 7. Two weeks later, four bombers failed in an attempt to repeat the attacks.

A number of individuals have been arrested as part of investigations into the July 7 bombings and the July 21 botched attacks. Most have been released on bail or released without charge.

If the British Police can consider for any time at all the News of the World to be a valid source of information, how desperate are they to try and understand what happened that morning?

Nice also to see Ian Blair endeavouring to hang on to his job reassure the British public about police shooting-to-kill.

At some stage in the very near future Blair, like his President Ministerial namesake in Downing Street, must go; but not before the truth about the London bombings of 7 July is revealed and justice is done for the victims, their families and the British Public.

Backing Blair: Back & Burning Effigies

In 1605, thirteen young men planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament. Among them was Guy Fawkes Britain's most notorious failed liberator.

Four hundred years later almost to the day Backing Blair is back with a vengeance and it looks like they've got a bit of voodoo medicine man magick lined up for the four hundredth anniversary of Guy Fawkes' efforts.
Tony Blair can't be waited out, or smoked out... he needs to be thrown out.

It's nothing personal; it's just that this action needs to be taken to prevent someone else thinking they can take the same actions, make the same bluffs, and get away with it at the end of the day.

Tony Blair can't be waited out, or smoked out... He. Needs. To. Be. Thrown. Out.

BackingBlair's suggestion for the 400-year anniversary of Guy Fawkes' attempt to blow up Parliament - burn an effigy of Tony Blair! They've even included instructions for making your own Tony Blair guy, complete with his semi-legendary genitalia.

The Antagonist thinks this is a superb idea and has just one question:

Why single out Tony Blair for the Guy Fawkes effigy-burning treatment when, in reality, the British people have been failed at every level by each and every single politician in the Houses of Parliament?

London 7/7: Musical Terror Trains from Luton

On the day that one of the alleged bombers on 7 July was buried in Pakistan the BBC's Horizon tonight floated yet another physically impossible story about the activities of the alleged bombers on the morning of 7 July 2005.

Some time ago the Metropolitan Police released one rather badly put together image of the four alleged bombers on 7 July from which all but one of the faces is vaguely distingushable. It looked rather like this:

Not being a graphic designer, far be it for The Antagonist to comment on the legitimacy of this photograph. Suffice to say it's complete bollocks. Digital media manipulation is a craft. It is also a craft that the craftsmen and architects of the 7/7 debacle don't seem to have acquired yet. Back to the point....

Here are a few of the stories so far from various media sources about what happened after that photo was 'taken':
"They boarded the 7.48am to London carrying return tickets."

Source: Independent

"The four bombers had travelled together on the 7.40am train from Luton to King's Cross before going their different ways."

Source: Telegraph

"Hasib Hussain, an 18-year-old from Leeds, is shown in a CCTV image mounting the stairs at Luton station before taking the 7.40am train to King's Cross."

The 7.40am Luton to Kings Cross Thameslink train did not run that morning so it is pretty unlikely anyone caught this train, much less so the four virtually faceless Asian men in the photograph above.

Horizon tonight claimed that the alleged bombers caught the 7.48am train from Luton and arrived at Kings Cross at 8.20am.

That doesn't work either.

The 7.48am train left Luton 8 minutes later than its scheduled time on 7 July 2005. The arrival time of 8.20am reported by Horizon would have been the case had the train been running on time. In fact, the train arrived at Kings Cross at 8.42am - a total of 22 minutes later than the scheduled arrival time reported by Horizon.

By 8.42am that morning two of the trains had already left Kings Cross, presumably not containing the alleged bombers that couldn't physically have been there given the photographic CCTV image released by the Metropolitan Police and the real, actual and factual timetables of 7 July as confirmed by the train operating companies involved.

All change. Please mind the gap.

Further details about the train times on the day London was bombed - from official filibustering sources - on the Mysterious Case of the Non-Existent Train Time, the definitive site for official 7/7 train information.

The Mysterious Case of The Non-Existent Train Time

BreakForNews for news have interviewed the inspirational Bridget Dunne about her ongoing battle against bureaucracy to establish some basic facts about the events of 7 July 2005.

Straight from the BreakForNews story about the interview:
Citizen Investigator, London-based Bridget Dunne has been blogging about her attempts to establish the official facts about the London 7/7 bombings.

She just got a reply from the Anti-Terrorist Police in Britain. She wanted the times of the trains and the bombers movements.

They told her to get lost.

They say it would not be in the public interest to release such information. What about Freedom of Information? Why the secrecy? What on Earth is going on?

Join our guest Bridget Dunne as we discuss her investigations, and our concerns in 'The Mysterious Case Of The Non-Existent Train Time'.

Extract from Scotland Yard Anti-Terror Branch Reply:

"You refer to the witness appeal process being aided by precise times. In fact were we to follow that process, we would potentially lose witnesses who might for example think they had nothing to contribute as they caught the 0841, not the 0843. Similarly we could be said to be 'influencing' witnesses by providing details which could then be incorporated into their accounts. The witness evidence gathering process is intended to be as neutral and uninfluenced as possible.

For example, if a police appeal said 'we are looking for a blue car' when later events showed it to be green, 'preciseness' would have been extremely unhelpful and 'not in the public interest'." More...

Listen up and listen good because, as Ian Blair said over three months ago on 22 July, "This is a very, very fast moving investigation."

You're gonna have to serve somebody

Former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has made an outspoken attack on the judicial process before pleading not guilty at his trial in Baghdad. He refused to confirm his identity and questioned the validity of both the trial and the judge.

"Who are you? What does this court want?" Saddam Hussein asked the judge.

You may be an ambassador to England or France,
You may like to gamble, you might like to dance,
You may be the heavyweight champion of the world,
You may be a socialite with a long string of pearls

You may be a preacher with your spiritual pride,
You may be a city councilman taking bribes on the side,
You may be workin' in a barbershop, you may know how to cut hair,
You may be somebody's mistress, may be somebody's heir

But you're gonna have to serve somebody, yes indeed
You're gonna have to serve somebody,
Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord
But you're gonna have to serve somebody.

- Bob Dylan

As Saddam Hussein refuses to recognise the authority of the court that attempts to try him for crimes committed with the help and support of his long-term paymasters, The Antagonist wonders quite which somebody Saddam Hussein and the paymaster generals of the world might serve.

Book of the Highest Initiation
Unknown

Is paradise anything but the pleasures of this present life?

Or the pains of hell anything but the tiresome fatigue which the followers of the religions have to endure in the form of prayer, fast, Holy war and pilgrimage?

Know that I have delivered you by this letter of mine from your chains and freed you from your bonds.

Whatever is forbidden for the perverted world becomes lawful for you, for those of your degree.

I address myself to you with the same words that have been addressed to Mohammed when he reached your position.

Today you are allowed to eat the good things and the food of these who have been given the book is allowable for you.

When the believer reaches the highest degree of faith he is dispensed from the religious practices.

No more fasts for him. No prayers. No pilgrimage. No Jihad. No food, drink, dress or woman whatsoever is forbidden to him.

You and your brethren are the heirs that inherit paradise.

In this world, however, you inherit its pleasures and enjoyments that are forbidden to the ignorant that cling to the religions of the law-givers.

You are to be congratulated that you are no longer bothered with their religions.

Whoever reaches this stage has acquired the keys of heaven and earth, found the philosophers stone and is in the possession of the great mettle.

He is dwelling in paradise and drinking from the fountain of life.

The Final Word on the Bird Flu Pandemic

Apart from noting the apparent confusion of a commentator interviewed for a news broadcast yesterday where the pundit stated the guideline figure of 50,000 deaths from Bird Flu in the UK is what his assembled team of experts were 'working for' before changing the meaning of his sentence entirely, The Antagonist has just this to say about the forthcoming bird flu pandemic:

BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD,
flu.

The Subtle twisted ironies of life....

.... and death.

The attention of The Antagonist was caught by a comment placed inside a BBC news story published on 12 July in relation to the 7 6 5 4 blasts (5 4 3 blasts on tube trains and 2 1 blast on a diverted Number 30 bus) on the morning of 7 July.

The story begins with the words, "Police believe at least one of the suspected London bombers died in Thursday's blasts."

The auto-comment dragged from the BBC's comment store was:
"Unfortunately we are going to have to surrender some of our civil liberties."

That he forgets immediately after an event designed to ensure that freed-men and women are fewer in number than ever before further defies reason.

BLiar thinks we're BLind like BLunkett

Tony Blair, President Minister of Iraq the UK, speaking at a press conference with the President of Iraq:
"There is no justification for Iran or any other country interfering in Iraq."

So get the troops the fuck out of Iraq then, son!

The Antagonist wonders how many more days before BLiar appears on TV again saying, "There is no justification for any other country interfering in Iran" before sending British troops in, some of whom may be kitted-out in the local dress of Iranians depending on the type of humanitarian mission they are undertaking.

European Court of Human Rights rules for prisoner's right to vote

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that banning prisoners from voting breaches their human rights. The ruling looks like it might force a change in British legislation with a spokesman for the Department for Constitutional Affairs saying it will now give the matter "urgent consideration."

In other words the Britsh Government lost and rightly so.

Perhaps it might also be possible to have a crack at one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in the history of the British legal system and give a certain rather low-profile individual by the name of Harry Maurice Roberts the right to a fair and just trial - a fair trial rather unlike the fair trials he hasn't been given for the 9 years since the end of the 30-year whole-of-life tariff that he served and continues to serve for reasons that the parole board will not divulge and against which he cannot defend himself.

That it is a piece of legislation reserved for use against foreign nationals detained on security grounds in times of national security that is being used against a British citizen and ex-British serviceman in relation to a crime of 40 years ago for which Roberts has served his sentence - plus nine additional and unexplained years - demonstrates quite how flexible British legislation is when certain forces are at work to make it unjustly so.

In June 2004 Terry Waite was interviewed on Radio 4's Today programme in relation to the case of Harry Roberts and provided an overview of the injustice and the issues at stake. The interview is available on the BBC web site here and here.

Maybe it's a coincidence that the court of appeal ruled against Harry Roberts again this year on 7 July 2005, the day when 'four miserable bombers... i'm not saying there are four bombers... four miserable events' occurred in London (Source: Sir Ian Blair).

Then again, maybe it's not.

Met Police Seize Record 5 Tonnes Of Cannabis

Hot on the heels of the Duchess of Northumberland getting a bit upset because her private, government-sanctioned stash of cannabis, magic mushrooms, opium, coca and, quite bizarrely, ricin was raided by those after a bit of decent bud, Metropolitan police prove what the war on drugs is about with a five-tonne seizure of Mexican cannabis on the South coast of England.

See you all at the Duchess's place some time soon....

Royal Narcotics Production Plant Has Cannabis Plants Stolen

For anyone that missed it in Jeremy Paxman's Newsnight round-up last night, precisely 36 minutes and 8 seconds into the programme for anyone that wants to watch again, Paxman announced:

"Thieves have stolen cannabis from a garden belonging to the Duchess of Northumberland.

The duchess had been granted special permission from the Home Office to grow the - 'pot' - plants as well as opium, ricin, magic mushrooms and coca, used to make cocaine, as an educational tool
. "

Yet more conclusive proof, as if it were needed, of the pharmacratic inquisition that removes the right of ordinary people to consume cannabis and nature's other psychoactive plants used by humans the world over for millennia.

At the same time the pharmacractic inquisition allows idle rich fucks to sit around illuminating their existences with the very same 'educational' cannabis and 'educational' magic mushrooms and 'educational' opium that are apparently oh-so-bad for the rest of us that we, the people, must be prohibited from consuming them at all costs.

Such is the war on drugs which, yet again, has exposed itself as nothing more than a war on ordinary people. The very same 'illegal' drugs that are bad for you as an ordinary person are in fact 'educational' and somehow beneficial if you're royalty. So much so the Home Office will grant you a special license to grow all types of 'drug', classes A, B and C. How fucking far out is that, man?

So the royals illuminate themselves with cannabis, magic mushrooms and opium from their own private, government-approved stashes and then unleash their government, its legislative powers and the wrath of its law enforcers on the rest of us to further remove the right of us mere mortals to consume nature's plants.

Of course, as with anything and everything, there are reasons for this. One need look no further than the recent UK legislative changes that have rendered the vending of magic mushrooms, fresh or otherwise, entirely 'illegal' to understand better the system of pharmacratic inquisition that is in operation the world over.

Anyone with an interest in such things will have noticed that the Amanita Muscaria - the Divine Mushroom of Immortality - reportedly one of the most 'toxic' of all magic mushrooms was curiously exempt from the recent UK reclassification of all-but-one variety of magic mushrooms to the status of Class A drug.

The reason behind the exemption of the most 'toxic' of all magic mushrooms, and why the Royals and other such 'luminaries' are allowed to swan (ho ho ho) about with their own personal drug gardens is very simple indeed and requires nothing more than a basic understanding of the use of Fly Agarics in human history, along with some knowledge about the symbolism of the black and white chequerboards that appear around the heads of the Queen's police (the bit that allegedly contains their brains and minds) and the sorts of places one might also encounter black and white chequerboard floors on which people will stand while performing a bunch of ancient occult rituals.

Sir Ian Blair didn't have much to say in the days after the IPCC leak of documents surrounding the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes but he did have rather a lot to say about Kate Moss and her alleged Cocaine use.

The Antagonist wonders what Sir Ian Blair will say about the Home Office sanctioning Royal gardens full of Class A, B and C drugs for 'educational' reasons while the rest us are actively denied the right to do the same by 'the law' and its misguided enforcers. Oh, wait, 'Sir' Ian Blair wears a chequerboard stripe around his head so it's unlikely he's going to say anything at all.

The legendary Bill Hicks summed it all up best when he said about those who endeavour to impose and perpetuate the pharmacratic inquisition with sanctimonious bullshit:

"Your denial is beneath you, and thanks to the use of hallucinogenic drugs, I see through you."

Although quite why the Duchess of Northumberland is being allowed to grow ricin in amongst her extensive drug collection is still a mystery and The Antagonist expects even less comment about the Royal ricin stash from Sir Ian Blair, or anyone else for that matter.

Maybe it's something to do with this sort of thing.

Note to the Duchess of Northumberland: If one is contemplating organising a house party any time soon, do feel free to invite The Antagonist using the email address link on the right of this page.

Red Ken - The Socialist Smartcard Fascist

Who would have thought that the new face of smartcard fascism would be none other than 'Red' Ken Livingstone.

The man who levelled Nazi prison warden jibes at a journalist for giving him a hard time is now forcing digital identification and tracking technology on Londoners through price-fixing heavily against using cash to pay for travel in London.

Yesterday 'Red' Ken announced a 100% increase in the price of train fares for London passengers who opt to pay cash while slashing the price for holders of the privacy-invading Oyster Card to half of the cash price.

Stopping people from using cash on London's public transport and "forcing" them to use Oyster cards that track their every journey around London's transport systems "is the ultimate objective" of the new public transport price hikes says 'Red' Ken.

The question must be, 'Why is it the ultimate objective, Ken, and which master are you serving today?"

Speaking at City Hall, the Mayor whined:
"The simple message is that you don't have to pay the new cash fares - switch to Oyster and pay as you go and you will save money as well as time.

I believe Londoners are astute enough to choose the best value fare for their journey."

As 'Red' Ken forces tracking smartcards onto Londoners with loosely-veiled jibes about cash advocates not being quite as smart as those who 'choose' to submit to the technologies of political control the least expensive 'option', it is perhaps worth remembering a few choice words from some leftie doctrine or another which went something like:
"All that is solid melts into air, all that is holy is profaned, and man is at last compelled to face with sober senses, his real conditions of life, and his relations with his kind."

The rules of the game are always changing but as Ken says, "Londoners are astute enough to choose the best" which by now no longer includes Red Ken, his Oyster cards or indeed anyone else that seeks to browbeat the populace into submission.

Injury with a healthy dose of insult - cajun style

The US city of New Orleans is sacking 3,000 workers, about half of its workforce, after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.

Mayor Ray Nagin said he wished he could keep the employees on the payroll, but added that the city was not earning enough revenue.

"We've talked to local banks and other financial institutions, and we are just not able to put together the financing necessary to continue to maintain our city hall staffing at its current levels," said Mayor Nagin.

What great service the banks, financial institutions and authorities have shown themselves to provide in the people's true hours, weeks and months of need.

Cars stolen in America used in Middle East suicide attacks

The FBI's counterterrorism unit has launched a broad investigation of US-based theft rings after discovering some vehicles used in deadly car bombings in Iraq, including attacks that killed US troops and Iraqi civilians, were probably stolen in the United States, according to senior US Government officials.

Those clever little Iraqis... managing to smuggle themselves into America when there's a war on, steal a load of cars and smuggle themselves and the cars back to Iraq. No wonder the coalition of those united against the will of world are having such a hard time over there.
The FBI's deputy assistant director for counterterrorism, Inspector John Lewis, said the investigation did not prove the vehicles were stolen specifically for car bombings in the Middle East, but there was evidence they were smuggled out of the US by organised criminal networks that included terrorists and insurgents.

Hardly what one would call driving distance, America to Iraq, eh?

How many authoritarian blind eyes and at which levels of authority would have to be turned to all these terrorists and insurgents running stolen cars from America to Iraq?
The inquiry began after coalition troops raided a Falluja bomb factory last November and found a Texas-registered four-wheel-drive being prepared for a bombing mission.

A special delivery right from the blackened heart of Crawford, perhaps.

Labour Party Conference Terrorism

"Over 600 held under terror act at Labour conference" heralds the Scotsman headline.

"Anti-Iraq war protesters, anti-Blairite OAPs and conference delegates were all detained by police under legislation that was designed to combat violent fanatics and bombers - even though none of them was suspected of terrorist links" continues the story.

Of course, if they held all of those at the Labour party conference with real, actual and easily provable terrorist links, there would be no Labour party conference.

Back to standing on the square numbered one.
